Chiltern Hills

A wonderful house in the heart of rural Coleshill featuring stunning views and some lovely mature trees, this design needed to be sympathetic to the house, yet to bring the garden up to the more contemporary quality of the major house refurbishment.

The terrace was paved with beautiful sawn natural stone, featuring herringbone brick detailing and surrounded with soft grasses and specimen trees.

The existing pool was landscaped in to better fit its position, with grass steps, gentle banking and a new coping and terrace formed from stone setts to match the terrace.

Paths around the garden are in traditional Breedon Gravel which forms a firm surface but looks golden and soft within the planting and lawns. The planting is a major feature of this design, with banks of grasses punctuated with more colourful perennials and specimen shrubs.
