Wentworth Estate

Wentworth Estate is a stunning large family home built by a developer for a discerning private client. The grandeur of the new house needed a setting to match and the design included; lakes, a stream, avenues of mature trees and traditional style water features.

Extensive planting includes swathes of groundcover in the woodland areas, marginal planting in the lakes and major screen tree planting to the boundaries. A particularly elegant curve of huge box-head form lime trees enclose a seating area with cantilever benching set in position to enjoy a long view across the lakes and ‘floating deck’.

This garden was taken from design right through to completion and beyond, from the initial discussions about the site with the developer, through planning, final designs and into construction. CG teams also supplied and installed all of the planting and took on the ongoing maintenance.
